Welcome to BNG Hotel Management Institute. These Terms and Conditions govern your relationship with BNG Hotel Management Institute, Kolkata (hereinafter referred to as “the Institute,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By applying for admission, enrolling in a course, or using our website, you (the “Student,” “Applicant,” or “Guardian”) agree to be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Admissions & Enrollment

Eligibility: Admission to any diploma or degree program is subject to the applicant meeting the minimum educational qualifications (e.g., passing 10+2 standard) and clearing the Institute’s selection process.

Document Verification: All admissions are provisional until the physical verification of original documents (Birth Certificate, Aadhar/Voter ID, 10th and 12th Marksheets, Migration Certificate, etc.).

Falsification of Information: If any document or information provided during the admission process is found to be false, forged, or misleading, the Institute reserves the right to cancel the admission immediately without any fee refund.

Right of Admission: The Institute reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason.
2. Fees & Payment Policy

Payment Schedule: Course fees must be paid on or before the due dates specified by the Institute. While we offer easy installment facilities, failure to pay installments on time may result in late fees or suspension from classes.

Non-Refundable Policy: Admission fees, registration fees, and tuition fees once paid are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, including voluntary withdrawal or dismissal from the course.

Additional Costs: The course fee does not cover personal expenses, specialized uniform replacements, or optional extracurricular excursions unless explicitly stated.
3. Academic & Campus Conduct

Attendance: Students are required to maintain a minimum attendance percentage as mandated by the affiliating board/university to be eligible for final examinations and placements.

Discipline: BNG Hotel Management Institute maintains a strict code of conduct. Any form of indiscipline, vandalism, misbehavior with staff or fellow students, or damage to campus property will result in strict disciplinary action, which may include expulsion.

Anti-Ragging Policy: The Institute has a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. Any student found guilty of ragging will face immediate expulsion and legal action as per government directives.

Hostel Rules: For students utilizing the residential campus facilities, compliance with separate hostel rules and curfews is mandatory.
4. Industrial Training & Placements

Mandatory Training: The 6-month Industrial Training in luxury-category hotels is a mandatory part of the curriculum. Students must comply with the rules, shifts, and regulations of the respective training hotels.

Placement Assistance: The Training and Placement Cell provides 100% placement assistance to deserving students. However, final job offers depend on the student’s academic performance, interview skills, grooming, and attendance record.

Revocation of Assistance: The Institute reserves the right to withhold placement assistance for students with poor disciplinary records, inadequate attendance, or unpaid fee dues.
5. Intellectual Property & Media Rights

Course Material: All study materials, presentations, and resources provided by the Institute are the intellectual property of BNG Kolkata and are for personal study use only.

Media Consent: By enrolling, students grant the Institute permission to use their photographs, videos, or testimonials taken during campus events, training, or placements for promotional and marketing purposes.
6. Modifications & Amendments
The Institute reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms and Conditions, fee structures, or course curriculums at any time to align with educational standards or legal requirements. Students will be notified of any major changes.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these terms, admissions, or administrative matters shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal.
